HydroChem Group – The Company

A specialist water treatment company with the experience and expertise in handling and managing the complexities of water treatment.

The company has been built up professionally since 1987 the longest established water treatment business in the Northeast of the United Kingdom. This does not come easily it takes time.  Our reputation and experience are known throughout many industries providing treated water for boiler installations, cooling towers, air conditioning plant, pharmaceuticals, electronics, hospitals, food and beverage production, agriculture, and fisheries.

HydroChem Group operate a strict quality policy and are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 registered with NQA the accredited body along with other with other professional bodies in the industry.

HydroChem Group – The Service

Services offered by HydroChem embrace the full water cycle, from when water comes out of the ground, its treatment, use and its disposal to its natural environment.

From water analysis in our laboratory, plant and equipment design through chemical cleaning, servicing to the blending and supply of chemical treatments. Dosage equipment, treatment plants which incorporate filtration, base exchange softeners, reverse osmosis, deionisers.

A range of chemical and equipment services as extensive such as this requires skilled technical staff with installation and decommission knowledge with after sales service all of which are provided by HydroChem.

Water treatment chemicals are blended in house by HydroChem with formulations tried and tested both in the UK and abroad with many years of expertise in the field. These are used for HydroChem’s own use and for other water treatment companies to use under a white label agreement.       

Full training modules for the use and testing are available for Boiler, Cooling Tower, Closed Cooling and Heating Systems and others.

Pre-Commission, On-line, Remedial cleaning and Disinfection of sites in the Industrial, Commercial sector and buildings with problems due to operational factors are carried out by trained engineers with the assistance of our laboratory.

The SafeWater programme incorporates water hygiene with legionella control, risk assessments and disinfection services which is paramount for compliance and safety of water systems. Remedial plumbing work compliments the risk assessment, and the in-house team co-operation ensures an good turn round of service with other trades in completion of contracts.
